Scholarships
VAMOS! partners with two organizations to administer almost 100 scholarships to poor children in Cuernavaca. The groups, FRUTAS and Cuernavaca Children’s Mission (CCM), provide funds to help families pay for school uniforms, books and transportation costs in two of our neighborhoods. These scholarships can start at age 5 and continue with a child through their completion of studies at a university! Join us in making a real and positive impact in a child's life!

We are honored to announce that starting in July 2024, VAMOS! has been chosen to continue the CCM Sponsorship Program! Sister Maggie has shared the details of how things have been administered and we are prepared to continue the program uninterrupted. We have the capacity to welcome all of the children to our Centers, primarily Casa Tatic in downtown Cuernavaca. We will be calling this Sponsorship Program, Hermana Maggie Scholarships because without her dedication and love for the poor, these sponsorships would not exist!
If you are a current CCM Sponsor or donor and would like to continue your sponsorship, please email Sean Dougherty at sdougherty@vamosinmexico.org with the information about your sponsorship. Sean will reply with more details and VAMOS! will be able to smoothly continue your sponsorship. You can also go to OUR DONATION PAGE to create your monthly giving plan or continue your donations in the same way you have in the past. All donations are completely tax-deductible. It should be easy to do!
