English Classes

VAMOS! provides English classes twice a week at six of our VAMOS! Community Centers to a total of 85 secondary school-aged children.  Realizing that their children need to be competitive in the Mexican labor market, VAMOS! mothers asked for English classes for their children. Research has shown that there is a strong correlation between being able to speak and write in English and economic earning potential.  This is one of the fastest-growing programs that VAMOS! offers.
